All building contractors who build new homes in Ontario must enroll each new homes under construction with the Tarion Warranty Corporation. The Tarion Warranty Corporation does many things for new home buyers in Ontario. * Insures deposits made on new homes to a maximum of $40,000.00 * Warrants building defects during the first and second years of occupancy * Warrants major structural defects for seven years * Resolves disputes between buyer and builder should they arise To our knowledge there is no other builder that backs its product like Oakwood Homes. Oakwood Homes warrants the first two years of occupancy as per the Tarion Warranty Corporation guidelines.** In addition Oakwood Homes extends the two year warranty coverage mandated by Tarion for a further three years.
